The promise comes from God.
We embrace it. We are overjoyed.
And then…
He makes us wait.
And wait.
And wait.
Through silence.
And seasons.
And darkness.
The temptation is the same as that which faced Abraham: make it happen.
That never goes well…for anyone.
So then, we must wait.
